This article explains how to manage your card: viewing details, setting a spend order, limits, statements, replacing and updating your card.
Go to the Card page in your app.
If you have both a physical and a virtual card, you'll see them side by side, each with its own details.
Under your balance, tap See Details to view your card number, or View PIN to check your PIN.
Complete any additional verification if prompted.
We spend your assets in the order you set to cover the full amount of a transaction, combining assets if needed. You can reorder and block assets at any time.
Open your Card in the Krak app.
Under Global Settings, tap Set spend order.
Arrange your assets in the order you want them used.
Primary currency: USD for US clients. We convert your assets to your primary currency when you spend; refunds and reversals are also paid in your primary currency.
Small balances: Small balances below a minimum threshold may be skipped when spending. The USD threshold is $1.
Block: You can block specific currencies you don't want to use.
Unavailable: Some assets are unavailable for payments and appear in the Unavailable section. If that changes, they are added to the bottom of your spend order.
Open your Card in the Krak app, then under Card Settings tap Limits to see your spending and withdrawal limits.
Limit type | USD |
|---|---|
Single transaction | $5,000 |
Daily limit | $12,000 |
Monthly limit | $22,000 |
ATM withdrawals are supported at launch at ATMs that accept Visa; your ATM withdrawal limits are shown in the app. Krak does not charge an ATM fee, but third-party operators may apply their own fee, usually shown before you withdraw.
Limit type | USD |
|---|---|
Single transaction | $250 |
Daily limit | $1,000 |
Monthly limit | $5,000 |
Tap your profile picture (top left), scroll to Reporting, then tap Account Statements. You can export monthly statements as a PDF, and you'll receive an email each month when a new statement is ready.
In most jurisdictions, using cryptocurrency for purchases (including through a crypto-linked card) is a disposal of an asset for tax purposes. If the crypto's value at purchase is higher than when acquired, you may realize a capital gain; if lower, a capital loss. See the US Tax FAQs article.
See more information here.
If your card is nearing expiry, you'll receive a notification. No action is needed if you are active and your shipping details are up to date — a new card is sent automatically. Keep using your current card until you activate the new one or until the printed expiry date, whichever comes first.
You can replace a card that is damaged, lost, or stolen and used fraudulently:
Go to Get help in your Krak app.
Tap Replace card.
Select the reason (broken, lost, stolen, and so on).
If you continue, your card is cancelled immediately and you won't be able to make purchases.
A replacement card fee may apply; the US fee and timing are confirmed at order ($4.99). If your card was damaged, the replacement keeps the same card number but a new expiry date and CVV.
