Where can I use the card?
Once activated, you can use the card for online payments, subscriptions, in-person shopping and ATM withdrawals — anywhere Visa is accepted.
The Krak app offers a wide range of supported assets, but not all are available for card transactions. Unsupported currencies appear as Unavailable in your Spend Order.
Setting your card spend order
We spend your assets in the order you set to cover the full amount of a transaction, combining assets if needed. You can reorder and block assets at any time.
To set your spend order:

Open your Card in the Krak app.

Under Global Settings, tap Set spend order.

Arrange your assets in the order you want them used.
Primary currency: USD for US clients. We convert your assets to your primary currency when you spend. If other assets in a transaction fail, we try to complete the payment using your primary balance.
Small balances: Small balances below a minimum threshold may be skipped when spending. The USD threshold is $1.
Fees when using your card
Krak lets you hold multiple fiat currencies, but your card is always denominated in your primary currency (USD). If you spend abroad, you’ll be charged the primary-currency equivalent based on Visa’s exchange rate, with no FX fees added by Krak. If you choose to spend a non-primary currency, we convert it so the transaction can complete. See the FAQs for more on fees.
Card purchase declined by merchant
If a merchant declines your transaction, please contact the merchant directly.
Krak debit card is issued by Lead Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Krak is a financial technology company, not a bank. Account balances are not FDIC- or SIPC-insured. Digital assets converted to USD at purchase; values may fluctuate. Available to eligible U.S. residents only; not available in all states. See terms.
Kraken may adjust its deposit and withdrawal fees in response to changes in the underlying costs, market conditions, or user activity. Clients are encouraged to review the account deposit or withdrawal page on Kraken’s website and app for the most current information regarding deposit and withdrawal fees.
