You can use your Kraken+ benefits on the Krak App.
This FAQ will answer common questions and guide you through everything you need to know about Kraken+.
Kraken+ is Kraken’s premium subscription service that offers reduced fee trading*, boosted USDG rewards, and exclusive perks, all for just 4.99/month (see how much does Kraken+ cost for more information).
Kraken+ covers transaction fees for trades made within Kraken, including Buy, Sell, Convert, Custom, and Recurring purchases - whether using your account balance, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or online banking. Spread and card processing fees still apply.
Kraken+ is designed for anyone who wants to trade with fewer fees and enjoy exclusive benefits.
To subscribe to Kraken+ scan the QR code and follow the steps shown below or visit this page.

Go to your account, and tap on Kraken+.

Then decide whether you want to pay monthly or yearly through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store subscription. If you are a new user, the first month of your monthly subscription will be free.

Confirm by paying via the app store.

Choose a payment asset (13 supported):
Fiat: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, CHF, AUD
Stables: USDG, USDC, USDT
Crypto: BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP
The subscription price is displayed in your local fiat currency.

Please note:
- Only annual subscriptions are available for now.
- You cannot already be subscribed to Kraken+ with your account.
- You can subscribe to Kraken+ with multiple accounts.
- Once subscribed via Kraken web, your benefits apply across Kraken web and Kraken app, but the subscription must be managed from Kraken web.
Kraken+ costs 4.99/month or 49.99/year in each major currency (USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, EUR, CHF).
For users in other regions, the price is automatically converted from $4.99 USD into the local currency within the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, with billing managed directly through these platforms.
Users signing up via Kraken web will be able to purchase annual plans only.

ZeroTrading Fee: Enjoy zero transaction fees on trades up to 10K per month in major currencies (USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, EUR, CHF). For users in other regions, this limit is automatically converted from $10K USD into the local currency. Spread and card processing fees still apply.

No, Kraken+ applies only to Kraken (app and web). It does not extend to other Kraken products such as Kraken Pro (Spot & Futures), Kraken Desktop, or Kraken Wallet.

Subscribers can trade up to 10K per month in major currencies (USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, EUR, CHF). For users in other regions, this limit is automatically converted from $10K USD into the local currency - without paying transaction fees. However, standard spread and processing fees still apply. You will see the exact fee amount before confirming your transaction.

Yes, new subscribers can receive a 1-month free trial, allowing them to experience Kraken+ at no cost before committing to a full subscription.
Please note: The one-month free trial is available only for new subscribers on the Kraken app and web.
Yes, Kraken+ renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly from the date when you subscribed) through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or directly via Kraken web, depending on where you subscribed.
If you don’t want it to renew, you’ll need to cancel your subscription manually before the next billing date.
Yes, Kraken+ offers flexibility with no long-term commitment, and you can cancel anytime. Cancellations must be managed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or the cancel button on the subscription page of Kraken web, depending on where you purchased the subscription.
You will keep your benefits until the end of your billing cycle. No refunds are provided for unused portions.
Please note: If you close your Kraken account, your subscription will be active until you cancel it via the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
No. Kraken+ is fully transparent with no hidden costs.
Once your monthly trading volume exceeds $10,000 in major currencies (USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, EUR, CHF) or its equivalent in your local currency, standard trading fees will apply to any volume beyond this threshold. If a single trade pushes your total trading volume over $10,000, only the portion exceeding this limit will be subject to fees.
For instant orders, the fees and total amount displayed at the time of the order will reflect the subscription discount.
For recurring and custom orders, if your Kraken+ subscription status changes before the order is executed (processed and completed), the applicable fees may be adjusted based on your subscription status at that time.

If you have subscribed to Kraken+ and can't see your benefits, try the following:

Restart the App: Close and reopen the Kraken app or try logging out and back in.

Update the App: Make sure you are using the latest version of the Kraken app.
